multiremote supports two radio transmission standards. Figuratively put: multiremote speaks two languages: ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart 4.0, formerly known as Bluetooth Low energy (BLE). For each pairing of multiremote to another device you choose the necessary language. Via ANT+ multiremote operates navi2coach, coachsmart, Magura’s eLect systems or Garmin’s Edge 1000 series and, with the latest update, also Garmin’s 810 and 510 series as well as Garmin’s Virb Cam. multiremote uses Bluetooth Smart to operate the official o-synce mobile app and the Scout app on iPhones from 4S or later. CycleOps, specialist for indoor bikes, also offers an app to operate their devices with multiremote.
