SWM Motorcycles is a historic motorcycle manufacturer that has recently created a range of electric vehicles. Born as a racing motorcycle brand, SWM Motorcycles has a glorious past made up of unforgettable models and international triumphs. An iconic brand of Italian motorcycling, it has for some years entered into a partnership with the Shineray group, a Chinese industrial giant that ranges from the world of two to four wheels, in addition to the production of agricultural machinery and generators. The history of the Brand begins with two very good friends who decided to build an off-road motorcycle to challenge the foreign hegemony of 2-stroke motorcycles. From that pioneering vision, three models emerged: 50, 100 and 125 cc, equipped with Sachs engines, which aroused admiration by conquering prestigious positions since their first participation in the races. The meeting between the passion for two wheels and the love for Made in Italy of Daxing Gong, a successful Chinese entrepreneur at the head of the Group, has led to the creation of a new technological hub of excellence in the heart of the Lombard motorcycle scene.
