1. Fusion In-Mold polycarbonate shell
The EPS foam is injected into the thin shell of the microshell while it is still in the mold (or "mold", which explains the name), instead of being molded separately and glued afterwards. This process was first introduced by Bell and is now the standard for all sophisticated helmets.

2. Float Fit
