Over the years, our DIVINE SL has proven itself as a perfect component for high-level race bikes with world titles, Cape Epic victories and Olympic medals. The DIVINE SL has equipped many bikes of the best XC and marathon racers in this world. Tailored to the needs of XC and marathon racers, the DIVINE SL is the lightest of our dropper family and is available with three travel, 80mm, 100mm and 125mm. Based on the award-winning and patented REVIVE technology, we modified the internals to adapt it to the short stroke. Of course you can also mount and use your DIVINE SL on bikes outside of the XC department. However, the DIVINE SL was designed specifically with the needs of XC riders in mind and that's where it excels. One of the features is the "Tech-Climb" function. While the DIVINE SL is completely still in the fully extended and fully compressed position for a consistent ride, in the intermediate positions the seat post has a certain amount of movement. We have found that extremely steep and technical uphill sections can be negotiated much more easily when the saddle is lowered slightly (say about 1-2 cm). By having the saddle lowered just a little (and not completely), the "Tech-Climb" function also adds a little suspension to the seat post, filtering out impacts from roots and rocks. By placing it fully extended or fully lowered, the seat post is rigid again. Another unique feature of our DIVINE SL: you can easily cut the lower tube, if you don't need the entire length and want to save a few grams. The 80mm version can be reduced by 115mm, resulting in a total weight significantly less than 400g. The shorter travel allows the DIVINE SL to have a design that does not require manual resets like the REVIVE but automatically resets with each full fall. Just like all dropper seatposts, DIVINE SL requires an internal passage on the frame.
