The spheres used for CeramicSpeed bearings are composed of high quality ceramic which allows for the creation of an ultra-smooth surface with a significantly lower friction coefficient compared to the classic steel or ceramic spheres currently used on bicycles all over the world. These characteristics allow CeramicSpeed bearings to offer incredible resistance to impacts but at the same time an uncommon longevity.
Ceramic balls and their polyamide cage are made to match (within a micron difference) with the best rings steel seals equipped with polished surfaces with a low friction coefficient, to complete and protect its bearings CeramicSpeed uses a specific low viscosity grease and anti-friction seals to keep water and dirt away from the ceramic balls.
To guarantee the best performance each bearing is produced in Denmark in locations with regulated ventilation and isolated from any type of contaminated agent and inspected four times during the production process to ensure that all components fit together perfectly.
