With the M 1900 series, DT-SWISS offers extremely reliable wheels for all-mountain use at a low price. Built around DT Swiss 370 hubs with sturdy aluminum rims, the new generation of M 1900 wheels is even stronger and more durable, despite a slight weight reduction compared to previous versions. For even greater reliability, the 370 hubs have been updated to the DT-SWISS Ratchet system. The integrated E 502 rim is the little brother of the XM 481. With an internal width of 30 millimeters it offers wide all-mountain tires with very good lateral support. Unlike DT Swiss's high-end aluminum rims, the rim ring is connected via a sleeve joining process. This makes the rim slightly heavier than welded rims with the same load capacity. The rim profile is of course designed for tubeless use and comes with tubeless tape and matching tubeless valve. Spline wheels are built exclusively with straight pull spokes. This ensures a very high level of wheel rigidity and, thanks to the elimination of the delicate spoke arch, a very high durability. In the Pro Lock process, a proprietary two-component adhesive is injected into the nipple thread and allows for the construction of extremely durable impellers. As soon as the nipples are screwed in, the adhesive is activated and cures completely after approx. 6 - 7 hours at room temperature. Repeated re-centering is still possible without any problems, however the adhesive force decreases slightly with each re-centering.
