Our speed release chips for Giant SyncDrive Sport/Pro/Core 2017 -2023 engines have been designed to remove the engine lock at 25 km/h and consequently maintain assistance up to 50 km/h (theoretical) taking advantage of the performance that this engine can offer. The Chip is not suitable for the SyncDrive engine with RideControl Go and RideControl Ergo 3.
Installation is simple and takes place in a few minutes, without opening the engine, without the need for power, or removal of the original seals; it is also totally invisible as its housing uses the internal space of the engine cover. Equipped with connectors.

The Giant engine release at 25 km/h is activated by pressing a button on the on-board computer. The speedometer will always show your actual speed and correct kilometers; furthermore, the residual autonomy is approximately correct. To activate or deactivate unlocking, use the Walk+ button. Eplus is also equipped with an automatic wheel circumference setting system. The calibration of the wheel size occurs automatically at the first start with the possibility of changing it manually.

The installation of the Advanced chip for Giant ebikes is combined with the use of the Tuning app which offers customizations such as modification of the mapping.
The Speed Unlocker functionality is obtained with an in-app purchase of €0.99; if you don't make the purchase in the app, unlocking DOES NOT work.

The operation of the eplus solutions is guaranteed for the software versions of the ebikes released up to the date of purchase. If the ebike is subsequently updated with software for which eplus solutions have not been tested, they may fail to function, following which eplus is not liable under the warranty

The Eplus Tuning app for Giant it allows you to:
- unlock the speed
- view the data in real time
- set the wheel size from 2000 mm to 3000 mm
- activate the Code Immobilizer, which prevents the engine to be activated
- set the speed to a value of up to 50 km/h (theoretical)
- set the unlock to be active when the bike is turned on
