The new Superlight V2 springs have been developed with exotic materials used mainly in motorsport applications. This material has very high tensile strength and modulus which, together with very careful design and specific manufacturing processes, allow the new generation of Superlight springs weigh up to 30% less than previous Superlight and other "normal" steel springs (the percentage of weight reduction depends on the spring stiffness and excursion values).

EXT Superlight V2 springs are carefully calculated based on the minimum length for the required travel, which means that your spring will fully cover the travel of the shock absorber, but will also have less weight. EXT springs have been developed for prolonged use, thanks to improved mechanical characteristics and material derived directly from motorsport. We offer a 25lb rate increase to fine-tune your bike.
EXT Superlight V2 springs do not require any preload (maximum preload of 2mm), allowing you to get the best coil damping feel. The use of springs with K greater than 600 requires dedicated spring hardware/adapter, ask your local EXT dealer for more information.
