Troy Brosnan wanted a "unicorn" of tiresome with a central tread design that could easily support high speeds and with side caps to easily support high speeds and with sidewall treads capable of supporting high speeds. Using the Rekon tread, Minion DHF and High Roller II as a starting point, the engineers began developing the dissector during the 2018 world cup.

3C Maxx Terra compound

Three compounds including a long-lasting compound on the center and two progressively softer compounds on the shoulders for superlative grip and stability.

Maxxis EXO 60TPI

It is an added material on the sides of selected mountain bike covers that is extremely resistant to cuts and abrasion. This layer obtained with a super light and highly flexible dense texture does not affect the performance of the covering.

Tubeless Ready TR

The Maxxis TR tubeless ready covers have the same advantages as UST tubeless tires without being penalized by the greater weight. For the TR version, a standard carcass is used and therefore requires the use of anti-puncture liquid for air tightness. If necessary Maxxis TR tires can also be used with the inner tube.
