Bicycle bottom brackets occasionally require removal for service, replacement, or upgrade. The Park Tool BBT-9 is used to remove and install certain threaded bottom brackets with 16-notch tool fittings, including Shimano®, SRAM® GXP, Chris King®, Campagnolo® and many more. This tool fitting is also found on some disc brake rotor lock rings. Additionally, the BBT-9 includes a tool that removes and installs Shimano Hollowtech II 8-point crank arm adjustment caps. The long plated steel handle offers good leverage for high torque applications and is vinyl coated for comfort.
