The BKD-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Bleeder Kit will bleed most DOT fluid-based hydraulic disc brake models, including models manufactured by SRAM®, Formula®, Hayes® and Hope®. Bleeding hydraulic brakes removes air bubbles and contaminants from the brake system to ensure long life and peak performance. The BKD-1.2 is built for daily commercial use and includes two syringes, clip-on hoses, different sized purge blocks, and a set of unique mountable syringe holders, plus multiple hose fittings to accommodate multiple standards found on bicycle hydraulic brake systems.

NOTE: The BKD-1.2 is only for bicycle hydraulic brake systems that use DOT oil. DOT fluid and mineral oil should never be mixed in the brake system or their respective service tools. Cross-contamination of brake fluid can cause lining failure which can lead to brake failure. For mineral oil brake systems use the Park Tool BKM-1.2 Mineral Oil Hydraulic Brake Bleeder Kit.
