To be able to absorb them while reducing them to a minimum, you would need a handlebar "with muscles": a simple but ingenious idea introduced by the Selle Italia Shock-Absorber Kit. Shock-Absorber Kit consists of two elements: Bar Pad and SG Tape. SG-Tape is a special tape with grip that allows you to guarantee even greater comfort and a better grip on the handlebars, bringing advantages in both performance and safety in the saddle. The Bar Pads are made up of three layers in different materials: the first, in gel, helps to simulate the behavior of a muscle, compressing upon contact and regaining its original shape in a few seconds, as soon as the pressure of the hand is released. In addition to the gel layer, the addition of PU Foam and a third Lycra layer help to increase the softness of the Bar Pads.
