The Shimano Deore XT RT-MT800 brake disc makes use of the successful Ice-Technologies Freeza design, which significantly reduces the temperatures generated during braking and thus ensures consistent braking performance and longer brake pad life even in the toughest conditions. The design is based on the so-called sandwich construction (stainless steel - aluminum - stainless steel), which not only improves and stabilizes the braking performance, but also effectively dissipates heat through the integrated cooling fins.
The SHIMANO brake disc with Centerlock magnetic ring nut is specially designed for e-bikes with STEPS transmission system to be used on the rear wheel with the SHIMANO EW-SS302 speed sensor.
