With their special tooth profiles, positioning pins and climbing aids, the Dura Ace FC-R9200 chainrings enable particularly smooth and fast shifting. This allows you to change gears under load without problems, as you would otherwise only be used to with a rear derailleur. Carbon fiber reinforced plastic construction with aluminum teeth helps keep weight low while increasing torsional rigidity. The hollow Hollowglide profile of the large chainrings also contributes to this.
