Spike Race 33 wheels have been specially developed to offer enduro, freeride and downhill cyclists very light, robust and high quality wheels. In this case, Spank combined the Spike Race 33 rim with an e-bike-specific Spank Hex J-Type steel hub. The 29-inch 32-hole rim is only 28 mm wide, a bit unusual compared to to other rims, but this gives the tire a smaller footprint and therefore significantly lower rolling resistance. Thanks to the special OohBah rim design, occurring power peaks are dissipated better, which makes the rim extremely stable and durable. This design also allows for weight optimization.
